The Pawn Shop (or Pawn Shoppe) is a Realm in which a player may recruit additional Pawns in exchange for Gold.
The player can choose to go to the Pawn Shop instead of taking their turn. They may recruit up to three (3) pawns from the Pawn Shop, up to a total of no more than 10 (ten) pawns. However, they may not return to the board for the remainder of the game.
