A Piranha Spindive is one of the hardest-to-do maneuvers in Chess. The King, Queen, white-square Bishop and a Pawn must all be aligned on a diagonal going from the upper left to the lower right of the board, from the player's perspective. Once this is achieved, the pieces synchronously move in a tightening spiral for the next four turns. Any pieces trapped at the middle of the spiral are immobilized and sent to Chess Hell, where they must remain for ten turns or until doubles are rolled. Meanwhile, the King that initiated the maneuver gains all of the abilities of a knight except for being able to jump over pieces when moving. The game then proceeds to Phase Two.
